Air Canada offers service to Toronto
from June 17
Air Canada said recently it will begin
offering daily direct service between Portland and
Toronto starting June 17.
The daily service will be year-round on an Air Canada
E90 to shuttle passengers between Portland International
Airport and Toronto’s Lester B. Pearson International
Airport.
The move is part of the Montreal-based air carrier’s
effort to strengthen both its Toronto hub and the
company’s position as the carrier with the most daily
flights between U.S. and Canada.
The Portland flight is one of seven American cities to
receive new direct flights to Toronto. The others are
Santa Ana and San Diego in California; Memphis;
Cincinnati; Portland, Maine; and Syracuse, N.Y.
