Be Careful when you are in London's Paddington Station...

Here is a piece of advice for all fellow travellers.  If you have just arrived at the London's Paddington Station stay alert at all the time.

Recently my colleagues lost all their valuable belongings in their handbag, which was lifted very quietly when he was purchasing a bottle of mineral water at the station.

Alas! he lost his precious camera, air-tickets and what not.  He has been advised by the locals that Report the matter to insurance compnay. Block all the credit cards and the airline tickets.

The Police can't do much, the Paddington station would have CCTV but most of these images are really blurry to identify the thief.

Busy areas are a type of a magnet for pickpockets' and ask your colleague to be more careful and watchful of his surroundings next time.

Another local advised that  thieves are in prowl in every major city in the world, and they can be found in places where there are large crowds. In this situation police will not be of help in this crime apart from issuing a crime report.  However it could help in claiming insurance. The local sympathizes by saying " I'm sorry to hear that this happened here in London, but it's a fact of modern life and we all need to be very careful".
